The winners of the 2022 Hugo Awards, the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book, and the Astounding Award for Best New Writer were announced at the Hugo Award Ceremony at Chicon 8 on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 8:00 PM CDT (UTC-5). The ceremony was hosted by Toastmasters Charlie Jane Anders and Annalee Newitz in front of a live audience. The full ceremony was streamed live on the internet.
